The Exhibition World War II in the Philippines - The Legacy of Two Nations took place at the San Francisco War Memorial Veterans Building from October to December 2016.
The Exhibition also included the role of San Francisco during WWII as well as two Executive Orders that made a huge impact on the Bay Area: EO 8802 which opened up the defense industry to minorities and EO 9066 which led to the incarceration of the Japanese Americans. This exhibition was sponsored by the American Legion War Memorial Commission and the American Legion Eight District Council.
