To help implement WWII in the Philippines in the U.S. History Curriculum Framework for Grade 11 (Chapter 16), we chose several teachers from the Bay Area to create WWII in the Philippines Lesson Plans on July 12 and August 4, 2017.  The workshops were conducted by Tracie Noriega, Director of Assessment and Evaluation of the New Haven Unified School District and one of the chairs of the School District's Equity Council.  These lesson plans are the results of these workshops.  The lesson plans range in depth and length.

We continue to develop more lesson plans (e.g. lesson plan from the military perspective) and will make these available as soon as possible.

These WWII in the Philippines Lesson Plans* and Primary Documents are Free to download.  But we ask that you provide us with your contact information as well as  feed backs and samples of student work so that we can evaluate the efficacy of the lesson plans and continue to improve them.  Once you fill out the contact information, we can send you the link to download the lesson plans of your choice.  You can download the primary documents directly below.  You can send us samples of student work in the future by Uploading File below.
